Complete Disassembly and Degreasing
Firearms are fully disassembled before coating. Each component is carefully degreased using 99% acetone and other appropriate cleaning agents to remove oils, grease, and surface contamination.
Abrasive Blasting
Once degreasing is complete, the parts are treated in our blast cabinet using 100-grit aluminum oxide. This removes the existing surface finish and prepares the material for proper Cerakote adhesion.
Inspection and Outgassing
The prepared parts are heated in our ovens to expose any remaining oils or contaminants. Areas requiring additional attention are cleaned and prepared again before coating begins.
Precision Application
Cerakote is applied using professional HVLP spray equipment and airbrushes. Depending on the selected design, we may incorporate vinyl stencils, sponging techniques, or freehand airbrush work.
Controlled Curing
