As winter sets in with frigid temperatures, deer populations remain resilient. Despite the cold snap, deer have not shown significant changes in their behavior or health. These hardy animals are well-adapted to withstand low temperatures, thanks to their thick winter coats and natural fat reserves.
While the current cold spell hasn’t posed a problem, prolonged exposure to extreme cold can eventually impact food availability and energy expenditure. For now, deer continue their usual routines, foraging and moving about as they normally would. Wildlife experts will keep monitoring the situation to ensure the deer remain unaffected as winter progresses.
